Looks really good. There sure are alot of 7's in one of your last pics, where is that? Good luck with your project.

onefast3gen 11-15-08 06:21 PM

Thanks. It is KDR

andre3 11-23-08 04:00 PM

Thanks everyone. By the way the exhaust is for sale because I'm thinking of getting the trust ti-r. The exhaust on there is a old school greddy power extreme in good condition and not many miles on it.

Miata_mx5 12-09-08 12:15 AM

I am sure 110 mph will eventually be too slow for you. ;)

Unless it is calibrated to read in MPH.

onefast3gen 12-09-08 03:35 AM

That might actually be a good thing. I look at it like a personal warning.

7_rocket 12-09-08 08:04 AM

What are your plans for the car? I can't stop looking at your in dash unit..

budfc3s 12-09-08 03:53 PM

Show and go weekend car.

onefast3gen 12-10-08 10:20 PM

Also I found out that my GT35R is leaking oil bad out of the exhaust seal so I might be upgrading to a GT4088 non ball bearing.

Flyweight 04-02-09 02:06 PM

What hotside did you go with?

onefast3gen 04-03-09 04:46 AM

its a t4 non divided. I can't remember the AR. 65mm is the turbine wheel size.

onefast3gen 04-03-09 04:51 AM

When I get up to KDR I'll tell you the AR.

BlowenByTwins 04-12-09 11:14 PM

Do you have some sort of coating or have the dash/center console refinished?

Looks too clean to be true...

Either way, looks great!

YoshiFD3S 04-13-09 12:35 AM

Your interior has so many flashy lights...

I think I'd have a seizure.

Not meant to be an insult. Just a silly joke.

XD

I want some DEFI gauges...

:[

onefast3gen 04-13-09 01:35 PM

its new 94 interior

BlowenByTwins 04-13-09 08:21 PM

How much did that cost if you? If you don't mind me asking.

onefast3gen 04-13-09 10:28 PM

I can't exactly remember, somewhere around 2,000.

G's 3rd Gen 05-06-09 07:58 PM

any updates on the performance of the 62/65?

onefast3gen 05-06-09 08:21 PM

Na not yet unfortunately there where some set backs in the build, should be done in a month or two.

SayNoToPistons 05-06-09 11:22 PM

Where did you buy the FD? I think it may have belong to my neighbor at some point.

onefast3gen 05-07-09 01:22 PM

I bought it in PA. Not NY.

So I decided to Jet-Coat the hot side of the turbo and the turbo manifold. Turbo has to come back out. Gonna add some time to everything. Hopefully will have it done by July.

mrb63083 06-02-09 02:26 PM

Lookin good, man!

Your engine bay is looking good! Did you have the compressor housing chromed?

If you're looking to have some high heat rotary specific coating done, let me know. My guy out in Texas specializes in rotary ceramic coating, his black for exhaust applications is good to 3600 degrees. It will outperform and outlast jet hot on an FD, and his product is used by rx7.com, ken scheepers, and over 100 members of this board are rocking his cerama-chrome and cerama-black coatings. PM me if interested :)

Thanks,
Know the housing is polished.
I think Dave is having his guy do it already. I'm going to have to speak to him.

ikpfal 06-18-09 02:59 PM

You setup is looking very nice. I'm planing to go with a 6265 turbo as well but im going with a more stelth look.

ikpfal 06-18-09 03:06 PM

Did you have any more specifics on your turbo I'm planning to use a T4 as well with a A/R .81. Man I wish I was back in PA, Dave really is the man up there he hooked me up a few times. Right now I'm at least 7 hours away from any decent rotary tuner.

I think my AR is .70 forgot to check. I promise I'll tell you guys next week. I need to break in the turbo. Dave wants me to put some miles on it before he tunes it. Latest up date. I had to add two more gauges. One for the methanol kit the other a AEM wideband. Also my trust TI is on the car but I didn't actually get to hear it yet.

purerx7 08-13-09 10:10 PM

Coming along very nicely. What year FD is yours? Thanks!

onefast3gen 08-13-09 10:11 PM

Thanks pure. It's a 93.

ikpfal 08-18-09 10:26 PM

The cars looking great, what size injectors are you running. I am runnig the same turbo with a .82 A/R, and would like to get your tuning notes. As the closest tuner to be is 8 hours. Post your reasults when you get a chance. Love looking at that engine bay.

Ok we must have the same turbo cause mine is a .82 A/R also. I'm running the secondaries in the primary location and the secondaries are 1600's.

Also thanks everyone for the compliments.

Ok I got the car home. It still hasn't been tuned yet cause Dave wants me to break in the new turbo. I will post the result and any information you guys want after the car is tuned. All I did so far is drive the car home and I really didn't get on it. But the little bit I did hit the gas it feels like a rocket. Dave said he set the boost to 10lbs.

ikpfal 08-22-09 09:31 AM

I'm running the the CJ fuel kit with 850's and 1680's. Dave has help me out with both my cars, he really know the car. I'm from PA and would love to get a tune from him but that a hell of ride, especially in a car not runnig well. Right know the cars down waiting for part at the moment anyway.
