Thanks for the comments guys..........I took some pics of the interior and the engine......for the guys who questioned me about the wing my car is a 98 because the tag on the seat belts say so aswell. I did take a pic of it but it never seemed to come out....but I will try again later...I have to go and get a boost gauge fitted in few minutes. Will post pics when I get back.

LOL...no family race just yet....Moms Supra is auto so she wouldant stand a chance...but her Supra is a special edetion 1 with crome rings around the gauges. Dads R33 is a singel Turbo...not sure how much HP he has....My bros MR2 will be about the best chalange...he is pushing around 12 psi.....but come to think of it I really dont know who would win.....ON a track..my bat but in a long long straight line you have to watch them Supras man they got some long legs. Thanks for the coment on my car BlackSupra94.

Sorry to burst all your bubbles but the Supra is N/A engine...BUT its a 97 anniversary model. The R33 has 255hp and my dad told me to day he would give me a good run for my money...but i dont think so....Supra has 265hp....MR2 has 225hp.....Acording to 98 spec FD's I have 265hp.....so you guys can work it out.....I still think my car is the fastest in the driveway. If you were my sister (FDSlave__q) youd get what ever you wanted...especialy if you were my younger sister cos then youd be next in line for the inheretance that i just used to get my BAT. Yea no airbags....dont know whyand to answer another question earlier....I baught the car as you see it here....only mod is the Kakimoto 3" mufler...mmm she puuurrrs like a big cat...great sound.

Yes I am the guy that used to have the Penguin avatar....thanks for the complement on the car and yea I used to ask alot of questions on Bodykits.
When I have some money I will put the Border type 4 front on with Apexi sideskirts and 99spec wing.....no rear skirts and lowered a little for a nice ground effect........BUT........Im going to do my engine first.....Bodykits are now the last thing on my mind....Im now saving money to put some Pettit products in my car. |

Why does your speedometer go to 180 like all of the us spec versions but says km/h? Wouldnt it go to like 300km/h? Just curious. 180 is only like 90 mph or something like that dont really know off of the top of my head.

60mph = about 110km/h Max speed on the roads in New Zealand is 100km/h so there is no point realy to have a 300km/h speedo. Dos yours go to 180mph and then have a smaller inner number set that reads kmh........I think the japs just like the number (180) and dont really mind if its metric or imperial. I will be posting more pics of the rest of the showroom later to day! O yea almost forgot.....sorry Mike, no adoptions this year.....! |

Cheers fellas.......Yea my Dad is a Petrol-Head and my Mom likes sports cars.....My dad used to have a black MR2 like my bros one but with 15psi boost and an Apexi N1 exahust.....it was quick. He decide he wanted a little more style and 4 seats so he traded in for the 96 R33 GTS2.5T. Mom had a metalic blue MR2 auto....very rare colour then dad found a Supra and persuaded her to change over. Iv always loved the FD3S shape and not to mention the rotary...so when my turn came for the inheretance I baught one. I got $15000 inheretance and put that down on my car and Im paying the rest over 4 years.

our speedometers to go to 180mph and underneath it has the kmh which goes to 300kmh which looks to be about 174 mph. Ive gotten my car all the way up to 168 before but was just curious as too why yours doesnt go any higher.

Hehe.....the Supra is NA. The 4x4 is a Mitsubishi Pajero and its my dads daily driver so his R33 dosent go anywhere most of the time.

japanese laws state that domestic cars can only have 206kw output (abt 280 hp) and a speed limiter of 180kmph thats why almost all jdm cars have a speedo that only goes to 180, just thought id clear that up, oh, and 100kmph is roughly 62mph.
oh nice car btw, very nice and clean, NZ is lucky with there import laws, our ones over here in aus are just getting worse and worse :( |
