Is anyone aware of any type of common ground speed sensor? Separate from wheel speed sensors I mean, in general Im looking for a way to obtain the car's ground speed at least mostly accurately. Im in the process of removing my current interior and I wanted to add some gauges while Im at it because, well, I think they look cool. The whole interior is getting a modern makeover and the gauge cluster is being removed so I won't have a speedometer.

Apologies if this is the wrong section to ask, I wasnt sure if I should have asked in tech since it's about the interior.

 

depending on your ECU or gauge choise there are GPS options. im going to use the haltech gps speedo.
