FD front 6.5" speakers installed
FD front 6.5" speakers installed
Hey, just to let you know that I did a 6.5" front speaker install with no issues at all. I use the Alpine SPR-60C 6.5" speakers. mounted them with the adapters from PVC Speaker Adapters - CNC Machined - In Stock or Custom Made and they worked perfectly. no clearance issues what so ever. the only mod I had to do was cut the plastic speaker grill to let the sound come out from behind the plastic grill. That was done just because when the tweeter was mounted it was behind the plastic a bit and it was a issue of it blocking the sound not a clearance thing. when the fabric and metal speaker grill are replace it all looks OEM ...and that's what I wanted.
I know some people have had issues with car-speakers-adapters.com but keep trying...I really think they are worth it, the alpines were a perfect match with 110W RMS.
TimMc333....I'm using a Rockford Fosgate power T400-2 for the fronts and a Rockford fosgate power T1500-1bdCP to push the 2 12" kicker L7's in the back. sorry to hear about you experience with car-speakers-adapters.com. Did you get the adapters at all or make your own?
I am using their adapters, just had an issue with an incorrect part being refunded.
