Fd engine cover thing
i have a few days off coming i may start working on this again. I had it mabye half way done the first time but got caught up with my car and paint and stuff. Also the guys who ripped out my windsheild before paint acidently stepped on it and broke it in half so im gonna have to fix it but we shall see. otherwise anyone ealse want to take a shot at it go for it!!!
it looks very interesting only 1 issue... what are you gonna do about the strut bar??
since the CF is there like right on top of the suspension covers, what are you going to do?
no strut bar?

If the KS one was STRUCTURAL, i.e.: added the rigidity of one of those 4 point auto exe braces, while being super light and adding clean appearance in CF, THEN you'd have something.
I don't see how they'd lock in any more heat than a closed hood would... but it would impede cooling with the hood open, like after a track session.

Where is the forum's Shine Auto rep? This thing would sell like hot-cakes!
Just offer a matte black or gloss black design and sell it for like $400. If people want CF, make it like $600 or something.

Hmm I've never seen these covers before until now. Funny thing is, I'm actually in the beginning stages of making something like this. My idea is completely different but on the extreme side. Should look really nice and unique when it's finished.
