I am considering building a custom dash for my car.

I was wondering if anyone here had experience doing this kind of a project. If you have, could you please post what materials you used, and what techniques.

I was leaning towards using fiberglass, but currently I know next to nothing about working fiberglass. Any links or offline resources you could direct me to would be helpful.

I do some custom sub boxes with fiberglass and its a royal pain in the ***...

I could explain how to do it, but it would take me forever and I dont think I could fit it all in here

 

I am currently awaiting CF sub boxes...you know its gonna get made. I'm surprised fiberglass could keep a deep note and not sound punchy and flat.
