Anyone trimmed FD center console?
i kind like the trimmed look even though i dont have rear seat anymore. Plus if you lean on the console too hard getting in or out the plastic cracks. a trimmed console will be reinforced with fiberglass and stand up a lot better for sure.

I bought new carpet thats uncut so I dont have to worry about patching up the spot where the rear bracket was. Im going to order a RHD console and drop them both off at a shop to have the work done.
where did you buy that carpet from? mine is in okay shape, but a brand new one sure sounds good.

I bought the carpet from auto interior. 801 black carpet with mass backing option, around 230$ shipped. It's not looped like the oem carpet, but I saw it as an option on another site for more. People have mixed results with it fitting perfect and not it not fitting at all. There is a vendor on the forum that sells the carpet with floor mats and trunk carpet, just search for it.
I'm going to get a center console from Bryan at rx7boutique when I order my Recaros soon. They have the panel available at Rhdjapan for 120$, no entire console though.

Keep in mind the RHD trans tunnel is angled at the leading edge, so it will only work with the RHD A/C panel. Maybe you can 'make' it work with some cutting etc but I ended up deep-sixing the idea before I really started.

Acain817: I didn't set it up with him yet, but figured if I was ordering recaros and bbs wheels it wouldn't be that big of a deal to have thrown in. Ill let you know.
