Another bose radio replacement question
Another bose radio replacement question
Hi everyone,
I've tried my best at searching and googling the topic and wanted confirmation.
My goal is to replace the fd oem bose tape and cd player with an oem alternative WITHOUT having to modify anything.
I've read threads on what you need to do if you wanted to run a later model mazda radio (2000 - up millenia or protege radios). However I ran across one thread that mentioned using an "older" millenia radio bose or non bose that plugged up. Couldn't find anymore literature on this.
Sorry if it's been discussed, I genuinely tried searching. Just want something easy that is plug and play.
Thanks for any help

any 1989-2003 Mazda uses the same plug and pinout, and plenty of them had Bose options, so any of those head units should work.
lots of options, although it will still be hard to find working ones. and a lot would light up green
my FD was non Bose, and i had a single din AM/FM/CD player that lit up red in it. not sure where it was from, 626? protege? NB MIata?
