Android Auto User Needed

Looking for a little help on a project I’m trying work on. If you have android auto on your head unit, can you do me a favor and check to see if the app ‘real dash’ is available? If it is, can you try and download it and see if it boots up correctly?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the help!

If it is downloadable, if someone is running CAN on an aftermarket ECU it might be possible to display your parameters on the head unit.

My understanding is that major brands like Sony, lock down their units, so downloading 'external apps' may not be possible. So I got a Chinese double din from a co-worker that may work, since its more open sourced.

It wouldn't work on my unit. I'm using a nice one I'll find the app name for you.

sounds good, thanks for trying.

let me know what you are using too. I like realdash, but AFR is on a different network and I can display it. So i'm really only using it for IAT and ECU coolant temp
