Mobile Phone version?
 

Ok, so somehow I accidentally clicked ok for the mobile version, (which I absolutely hate) and now I can't turn it off. I see on the bottom left corner it says normal version which I have now clicked 500 times and it just refreshes the page in the mobile theme. Please god help me turn it off!

Yeh the mobile version is less convinenent. it goes back to the regular version when I exit the FireFox and renters the site on my evo. if not, some mobile site has a button on the bottom of the site, option of going back to regular website

Yea I keep hitting Normal Version, and it does nothing. I'm still stuck with the mobile crap

Yeah the mobile version sucks. Time is the only way I figured out so far to get back to the desktop version.

Go to the site, via your iP. (This will force it into the Mobile CSS).

Log back OUT and clear out your cookies/ cache.

Then, when you log back in, it should revert back and ask you which version, again.

This happen to me as well with my iphone 4. What I did was I taped the normal version once, erased all my history and turned off my phone. I turned it back on and it was back to normal.

Yes that's the only way to get rid of it

PM's also seem to not work in the mobile version. I have verizon droid x btw.

All other forum functions work but if i want to pm, i have to switch to normal version.

Do people really like Tapatalk? I cant stand it but it is easier to reply to PMs...

I guess enough people use it to warrant making a fairly popular app, for it's integration.

I think site site would benefit from SOMETHING akin to this, not necessarily TaT.

The pm's are not working for me ether in the mobile version. I have Verizon droid.

Pm's do not work for me either. HTC evo user here. Dont mind the mobile site besides the pms not working.

i would love to see this forum support tapatalk. makes forums so much more usable on the go.

Hey, I am not sure if the problem was fixed but if you have an iphone exit out of the page, then clear all ur cookies and cache files in ur safari settings and then go back to the site and it will work

Oh this is frustrating!! I tried the steps above, but its no use. And when I try to use the Site on my laptop, it still wants to be in "mobile version " on there too, and so the site just hangs and never loads on my laptop! :( Isn't there some way to access my user CP in this mobile version, to turn off the mobile version? Because otherwise this site is unusable and my account is screwed :(

had this problem because my dumbass self clicked the mobile version on the bottom of the page being curious.

I couldnt fix it, so i switched to google chrome. If your not already on chrome, just switch. Its awesome.

I did exactly what you did, but while using Chrome. So that easy fix doesn't apply.

i think we should have an app for the forum like Impreza owners have a NASIOC app. I love it. its easy to nav. Its free also. but if cost was an issue id gladly pay .99 to have an rx7club app

Honestly, it's okay, but it could be smoothed out a lot more. It would be great if they could get something like the IPB Mobile Skin thing going.

I'm not sure if any of you have tried, but personally I use the Opera browser on the iPhone with mobile mode and it works just fine. No problems at all.

Just a quick one, where I posted (ages ago now) that I had switched my forum view to "mobile" in my User CP and it screwed up my web view of the forum (couldnt log in, etc) now seems to have been fixed. I can successfully log in via the web on my laptop, and it doesnt get stuck trying to apply the mobile theme. Yay!! :)

Mobile version seems fine now, even though this was started a year ago. Why is this sill alive? O.o

wish it was registered with tapatalk, but I'm guess the add revenue cannot be generated from that application
