How do I un-subscribe from threads.

How do I un-subscribe from threads.
I just want to know how to un-subscribe... I keep getting updates from the "how to use the forums" threads... Im wondering how to un-subscribe so that I dont get these updates...

At the top left corner, you'll see User CP, click on that.
If you go down the list of categories on the left hand taskbar, you'll see Settings & Options...under that heading is Edit Options, click on that.
You'll see a bar header with Messaging & Notification. Under that is a box labeled Default Thread Subscription Mode that has a window with drop down options.
Select No Email Notification from the drop down menu.
Now go to the very bottom of the page and click the bar Save Changes and you are done!
