you can't edit an Original posting of an ad,(AFTER 30 MINUTES).It is a built in safe guard so to speak,so that guys can't edit prices of Original posted parts, etc if there happens to be a conflict about them.
If you can't alter prices in the original ad then the prices posted are the prices stated and sh.own to all.

NOW if you would like to,you can either Post a Reply to your own thread with an alteration to your thread content OR get a hold of me and If I can help I will edit it and fix it up for you..

That makes no sense. Its not efficient to have to scroll through an entire thread to see what items have sold and what are still available. It'd make a lot more sense to be able to refresh the post and remove the sold items .

you are the one selling the parts. the potential buyer is the one that has to scroll thru to see what's still available, not you. when you sell something, all you have to do is hit the end key on the keyboard and post in the quick reply box when you sell an item. now if you are the buyer, yes it might be a hassle especially when a thread goes several pages long, but that's life.

tried to find a thread where the seller listed the items for sale and then quoted himself in a post as to what had sold. but this is the best i could do with a quick search:
