GA Having Trouble with sig avatar

I have been trying to set up my signature and avatar but am having trouble doing so. I can get the written info loaded for the signature, but have not been able to get a picture to load correctly for the avatar, it either is so "cropped" looking that you cant tell what it is or its distorted badly. Do I need to downsize the original? If so, any idea what pixel sizing works best?

Thanks
Barron

There's a definite maximum size. There's so many ways to get the correct compression, it's just easier to send it via Email to someone who can take your file, compress it, test it, and then send it back to you so you can use it when you go into your control panel. You couldn't find anything from the selection you liked, eh?

I don't see anything as an avatar pic for you at all right now.
