Yes it will.

The only posts that don't count are the ones in the Lounge.

 

as already posted, ur post count goes up by 1 each time u respond to someone elses thread or u start a thread urself. the LOUNGE is the only place posts don't count. once u get a certain # of posts u can access the other parts of the forum. u'll also find u'll get better/more responces to ur questions if u'll get out of the new member section and visit the specific gen sections ur asking about. very few regular members visit the new member section.

 

Posts in the Lounge, West Section, and West Lounge do not count towards your over-all post count. ("West For Sale" still counts)

 

There are also 6 stickied threads in the Intro section purely for increasing your post count. Just try to keep the shameless postwhoring to a minimum. My delete finger has been getting sore lately.
