Windows software for E6K

Anyone have any updates on when this (err... if this) is being released? I heard a rumor about "Halwin" (think that's what they were calling it) but the site I saw it on hadn't been updated in a few months.

Windows??? LOL

I can see it now, you are tuning your fuel settings and you get a blue screen, leaning out your a/f ratio and blowing your engine.

The E6K wont get it for a little while yet. The old version Haltech did was axed due to too many problems and cumbersome to use. A new version has been recently done but you will first see it on a new system in the near future and it is shaping up to be quite nice. The E6K will most likley get retro-supported afterwards.

Hitman> do you happen to know if the E11 is going to use the same harness/connection? Would be nice if we were able to just switch boxes and leave the harness in place... but I imagine the E6K harness won't support all the goodies on the E11.

The harness is completely different due to the big difference in the number of inputs and outputs. It is a totally new ECU and related at all to the E6 series.

No release date as yet. I suppose when it is ready and all bugs are sorted out.
