HAltech Overheating
I have been having issues with my haltech shutting the car off when driving. Originally I suspected it was a faulty fuel pump (more to it than just guessing) so I swapped it out. Today while driving it started doing it again. Usually I would just cycle the ignition and it would start up again and away Id go. However today it wouldn't start back up. When I pulled the carpet back and took the metal panel off that covers the ECU (stock location) the ecu was pretty hot. I am 99.9% sure its whats causing the issue.
Question I have is where else can I mount it or is there a setup that anyone has done to aide in cooling the ecu. I have wrapped the Downpipes and added a Turbo blanket already. I really want to give it a mounting location so I don't have to worry about it getting stepped on. Thanks

It is a platinum ECU. I'll look into that. I've seen a lot of people having heating issues with these ECU's. You would think Haltech would have better cooling solutions.
