Tachometer connection to Haltech
Just wondering if the E6K has a wire I can run to my tach's green wire (ignition signal). I'm using a sunpro tach, works with 2 to 10 cylinders. Here is the tach in the link below. It will run off of a computers ingition signal wire it says in the directions.

I believe the Haltech (E6n series) kills the tach output when set to Advanced mode - how most rotary engines are set to.

-Ted If thats so, then how would you wire up the stock one? |
For FC's, we don't touch the wiring.
The stock tach is already wired in and isn't molested on the conversion. If you're talking about aftermarket, the FC stock coils packs come with "diagnostics" plugs that allow you to plug an aftermarkat tach in without very much fuss. -Ted |
sorry, I mend for like an FD

For an FD
Light green wire (leading igniter/(ign out) -> yellow/blue wire on one of the yellow connectors to ECU (that are left in the kick panel)...I forget which one at the moment. Well, that sounds funny...because the light green runs to the light green wire on the igniter. So cut the yellow/blue wire out of the yellow ECU connector and splice in a jumper, and splice it into the light green haltech wire. you can accomplish this all in the pass. kick panel. |
Thanks
