New and Need a Map

Okay I just got my Haltech today, it's an E6X, unfortunately I could not find an E6K. This is being run on an 87 TII. First question is: are maps compatable between the E6K and the E6X? Second I need a base map. Here are my relevant mods:
Full intake, cat-back exhaust, stock turbo, 550 primary, 720 secondary, all emissions removed, stock ignition, will be using the hitman's method of timing, and the biggest, I have a very large streetport. I also have a 3 bar map. If anyone can give me some more help with a map that would be great, or if there is anything I left out that is needed please let me know. Thanks.

Okay new question. I am having problems with some of my software, first the disk they gave me only read on my laptop that has xp. I know that currently xp won't run the software, but on the other three laptops that we've tried that already have the E6K on it, would not read the E6X disk. We got around that by downloading it. But I am still having problems with the software, we can't get it to recognize any maps that are on the computer's hard drive, and sometimes it won't recognize maps on a disk. Also on the current map that I have which was set up for a stock S4, we did some tuning, and now after we saved it, I no longer have a zero throttle map. So if anyone has E6X on the computer it would be great if you could send me a copied file of it. Also my air temp sensor is reading some what off. While sitting I will see air temps up to 110, even though I'm using a stock intercooler I don't think my temps should be that high. If anyone has any answers or thoughts I would be happy to entertain. Thanks.

when you are sitting, your TMIC is more like a interheater. keep that in mind. what about when you're moving?

It varies the last few nights it was driven the ambient air temp was around 60-70 and the air temp sensor was reading between 90-110. Once I run it today I will try and monitor what the temps are.

Okay I drove it yesterday and it was 40 outside and I had temps at about 57. So I'm not sure if it is the intercooler or what.

Its your intercooler. Unfortunately I've had to use my stock intercooler with my large turbo setup for a few months now and I find that, even when cruising, you'll see anywhere from 20-30 degrees difference between ambient and intake air temps. When sitting I've seen over 100 frequently, sometimes higher. You should be okay but dump that intercooler for a front mount once you start pushing the boost.

Thanks, I'm still going to try and check a couple other things but that was what I was afraid of.
