New haltech TPS.

I recently bought another haltech TPS (3rd one so I had the shop make me another bracket in case this was the cause) and noticed it had a different harness then original. Also looked slightly different by only the mounting holes.

Installed it and the TPS has a range of only 38? I think its a 5kohm range.

Haltech said "Check that the voltage from the TPS is increasing smoothly, If so the sensor will be fine. It may simply be from a different manufacturer."

The tps seems to work fine. Does anyone else have the same? The old one had at least a range of a few hundred.

Thanks,
Ian

Please tell me how you're doing the calibration process. Also, can you please take a pic of this new TPS mounted on the TB so i can see how it was done.

I will take a picture.

Found out that the pins are not fitting completely in the harness. First time I've ever seen pins pop out once installed? I tried bending the locking tabs out a bit but they still pop out?

So the TPS issue was the pins not making. It calibrates fine now but the pins need to fixed.
