Ignition setup Values e6k
So diving deeper into my ignition to find any potential issues.
here are my settings that differ from other tuners ( BDC, HItman, Claudio) (from setup writeups) all of my other settings match their setups and other maps of been shared over the years Trigger gain 4 (BDC=1,, Hitman=2,, Claudio=2-3) Trigger angle 67 ( BDC=65, Hitman=60,,Claudio=65) Charge time 3.0ms (BDC=4.8ms,, Hitman=4.5-5,,Clauidio=4.5) Home Gain 4 (BDC=2,,Claudio=2-3) The coil charge time seems awful low for stock coils im getting ignition break up 7400 and up, TIA |
Gain will depend on your individual application. There is not one value to fit all cars. Generally, the lowest value you can get a clean signal is best.
Trigger angle will also vary. As long as your timing is synched your trigger angle is correct. Charge time is low for stock coils. 4.5 is what I use on stock 2nd gen coils. |
Chris's right.

For what it's worth, here are my e6k settings. I have installed the CAS just as you would for the factory efi. I know there are a couple different ways to do it.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-j...k/ignition.PNG The car runs great at 11lbs on a T-60 with no break up. |
Get rid of the CAS. I have a very nice Hall Sensor setup I will sell you.
