I AM SOOOO HAPPY! IT WAS THE FU#KING SPARK PLUGS! I guess I flodded them to many times (supposedly even if you clean them after they get fouled, they can still go bad....) well, she runs beautifly on Matt's MAP too! THANKS A MILLION Tims and everyone else who help trouble shoot with me!
well adrain congrats man, i hope mine will actually run right, but anyways your car isnt running rich at all? becasue mine is running really rich! well shen it descided to run.....but i will get abck to you guys on whats up with it! yea TIM is to congradualte hes been the outstanding person on here to help us out! thankx again tim

Yeah, it is running rich but I won't make any changes to the map until I hook up the wide band O2 sensor at my buddy's shop. (I can't afford to blow another engine) Have you tried adjusting your fuel map?
sometimes the simplest thing can cause you to pull your hair out. I am glad you got it going. I knew there was going to be something obvious that was causing you all these problems. I usually have two or three sets of plugs and at least one spare battery when ever I have replaced a motor or installed a new system. Once the raw fuel contaminates the spark plugs they are no good. Now you can tune it up and enjoy.

well guys i found out exactly why my car doesnt start all the time,,, the truth is well the shop told me i had low compression on the front rotor..... this is bullshit, hey tim haha you know how to rebuild rotarys? ahhaha now im thinken of rebuilding itmyself......this sucks man well i guess ill keep yall informed this is gonna be one long winter!
well masetrul, heres the thing it is a j-spec turno II motor and well im pretty dure it came running from japan, but this thing runs here and there??? so it has low compression , hey your from chicago, did you ever hear of GK systems in Gurnee, IL becasue that is where my car is as of the moment......so for now i dont know what im gonna do but i got anther motor comen for it so i can give it a compression test and then put it in....then im gonna take that motor in the car and rebuild it myuself....and port it so we'll what happens....

The fact that this those guys have an second gen with haltech and running, doesn't mean that they know what they're doing.
THEY KNOW ****-----PERIOD.

are you serious dan? dude my buddy lives in northbrook/glenviw and he said hes heard of lots of bad things about them??? what is wrong i mean they seem cool but very high priced for stupid **** especially motor rebuilds but anywho man did you ever build a rotary and ****? casue maybe i can get ya to give me a hand? lol or sumthin......becasue its very hard to understand these things.....and if tuning i can give ya sum cash to help me get this thing goin right???but anyways tim gave me sum maps and i shoudl be getting anthe rmotor soon from the place i got it from becasue this motor is or has low compression so we'll see

I'll tell you why: anybody can do it, but how many can do it RIGHT?
Do yourself a favor and have your motor done by a reputable shop(even that requires shipping), a motor is something that you want PERFECT not having it removed(in /out, in/ out), becouse it wasn't done right first time, or because didn't last too long.

yea thankx dan lol sheesh i know i am worken on getten it outta there it seems to me like i made a big *** mistake to bringien it there??? but o well this thing suckx lol we'll see what hapens with in this month i did run into an FD owner out here and i just found out that he builds/tunes rotarys and gets clips from japan and well when he heard haltech he fell in love so it looks like i found a puerto rican who is aweosm! so thanbks guys

I would agree that you should have a good pro assemble the new motor. I don't even take apart motors anymore. I have an ex IMSA engine rebuilder who does all my motor work. you probably have a stuck corner seal on your J-spec motor. you might try to just run it for a while and see if it will free itself. or maybe a little ATF to break it loose. otherwise try to find a local reputable rebuilder or ship it off to one of the recommended builders.

I was refering to plugs soaked in liquid fuel not just what may have been injected during normal operation, but fuel dripping from the plugs. sorry for my choice of phrases it probably only makes sense to me. sorry
