HINT: E6X FD Rad Fans higher speed.
When I installed my haltech, I just followed someone elses diagram...some what.
it only has one wire associated with the radiator fans...the one from the stock ECU.
After studying the fan operation...I decided I would GND the old thermo switch.
It's located on X-14 and is B/R; GNDing this opens a relay(no.4, if I remember correctly) when the ignition is switch ON.
When the fans are actived, this bumps the fans speed up...don't know if it's to med or high?
I didn't see this info when I searched, so I'd report.

well, I don't think many people have done this...which might be a good thing.
As I tracked my battery drain to this...(if I didn't drive the car for two or more weeks, my small gel cell battery would be down on voltage)
It turns out this holds the relay ground even with the key out of the ignition.
and it's relay No. 3 (not 4 as I thought above.)
to fix this, I just tapped the V/W wire from Haltech to this [B/R] wire as well.
