use search function on this site . most everything about Haltech and others have been discussed in detail. I also recommend your local library and get some books on internal combustion engines. this should keep you busy for a couple of years. or stop by your local shop that sells and installs stand alone ECU's and see how much it is to have them install and tune it.

I started by reading then reading and doing some more reading. One thing you can do is join the haltech group on yahoo. Just read through old posts and it will start to come together over time. Or better yet you can down load the manual for the E6K or the E11, it will teach you a lot!

Also im planning in the future to hopfully own my own buisness or work for a preformance shop so i may as well learn now while im going inot college. but i should probly download the e6k right cuz thats the newest system?

the E11 is the newest.

DL the manual and the software so you can get a feel for it. First off tho, how extensive is your electronic and computer programming understanding?
