HELP i cant communicate with my haltech e6k all the time sometimes it will let me sometimes it wont anybody with suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

First check your serial cable for any crushed or cut wires, 2nd, check the pins inside the serial connector on the haltech harness, make sure all its wires are in place and intact. 3rd, what kind of laptop, OS, are you using?
