Question Halwin - How much computer?

I downloaded the Halwin softare on my laptop (old laptop)

-AMD K6 233
-96MB Ram
-10gig HDD

It just slows the whole computer down. I have no background, no TSR running in the lower right bar. Is it just a big program? I can normally run MS word and seven IE windows with winamp running and the computer starts to slow down. I don't understand why this Halwin software needs so much. Is it just poorly written in this respect?

What are the bare mins? I have not found that info anywhere?

If I do go with the E11 I would format this computer and start with a clean slate. But not sure how much of a difference that would make?

The minimum requirements for Halwin are:

233 MHz processor
VGA color display 800x600 (preferably 1024x768)
4Mb of memory
20Mb of free Disk space

The recommended requirements are:

400 MHz processor
VGA color display 1024x768
4Mb of memory
10Mb of free Disk space

Yea, I checked these out before as well to make sure my laptop would run them and it runs fine on my laptop.

Hum, thanks for those stats!

I guess my laptop is right on the edge of it not working.

It runs fine. However, my mouse movments are slow and blocky.

Thanks!
