Question Haltech wiring

I have an Rx7 that burnt some of the wiring harness under the hood and since the factory wants close to 800 dollars for a wiring harness I thought that it would be a perfect time to go haltech. My question is will the haltech completly replace my old wiring harness? If not how much does it replace? thanks for the help

If it's the emissions harness (the one that goes to the fuel inj, omp, temp gauge, cas, etc) that's burnt, you'll be able to replace all of it with the haltech harness. I'm sure that's the one you're talking about, because I had a small fuel fire one time too, and got the same price quoted to me for that harness...

The wiring harness that gets replaced with the Haltech harness is not related to any of the guages (except the speedo and Tach). The harness it replaces is the one that goes through the firewall under the ABS (passenger side firewall).

Besides rewiring the temp gauge sensor you have to do the wiper motor and cruise control.

I didn't have to do this on my 3rd gen. Basically the Haltech just replaces the stock ECU. It is all in the wiring where things get let out that is/can be the problem.

Is it possible to wire the tach and water temp with the Haltech? If so, how do you do it on a 90/91 turbo? If anyone knows how to do it, please let me know. I don't want to buy a huge tach.
