Haltech Question!!!

So theres a GB going for Haltech in the Canadian Section, and i am thinking to get one...

so with the E6X/E8

-What can i eliminate? (factory harness? AFM? stock sensors?)
-What can i keep? (does the factory gauges still work? or does all that need to be spiliced in or do i need to go all aftermarket gauges (speed and tach?)
-Anything i should watchout for, buy, etc?

THANKS!

AFM and factory harness are gone. you also eliminate the pressure sensor. you pretty much make your own new wiring harness for the engine. you can retain the stock injectors, water temp sensor, and the stock TPS, you just have to wire them up.

the tach and the speedo should still work without modification as long as you keep stock coils. i dont believe the water & oil gauges will still work, but i never made an attempt to keep them since they're so crappy. if youre stepping up to a haltech you're getting serious enough that you need some real guages anyways.
