Anybody have pictures of how and where you mounted your haltech?
Im planning out the setup for my FC and was looking for some ideas.
Thanks!

never took pictures, but I mounted it under the passenger seat.
I used a piece of dynamat style heat shielding stuck to the floor, then made a small platform out of a peice of quarter inch plexi glass attached (riveted) to some small thin piece of angle support riveted to the supports that the seat bolts to. No drilling through the floor board was necessary. I attached the haltech to the plexi with "industrial strength" velcro, then cut a small (maybe 8 x 10 or less) hole in the carpet leaving flaps on the front and rear edges.
Its a tight fit but there was just enough room for the haltech (e8), the three solenoids, and the fuse box, and there is about 1/2 inch of clearance with the seat. the best part is no matter how you slide the seat, even looking under it in any alignment all you can see are the flaps of carpet. there is no indication that anything, is there.
It also made room for having the "plug and play" wire harness connector that I made in the location that the ecu was in stock, along with some solenoids, a power distribution block and some other pieces.
If I ever get them (backorder for 2 months) I am going to mount 2 crane cams DI2 CDI ignition boxes under the driver seat.

i mounted mine behind the passenger seat under the carpet. just screwed it in to that fiberboard and to the metal. the carpet drapes over it so you cant see it from outside the car.
I added a strip of sheetmetal to the OEM ECU bracket and bolted the Haltech to that with rubber isolator strips undernetah it.
No pics though, didn't think it warranted them.

Usually the stock location is a good place, im kinda iffy about putting it under the seat covered by the carpet since you might want the haltech to have some air circulation to keep it cool, but all you're ideas seem to be ok.
me too, thats why I cut out the carpet that would be covering it.
You can't see it no matter how you move the seat.
This is a good place to put it if you want to piggy back it with the stock computer or connect it with a harness adapter. It gives you allot more room.
