Haltech Install Questions

I just finished ripping out the stock engine harness. I have some questions. (1988 10th AE)

-Windshield wipers end up getting attached to what wires? It went with the harness.
-All Solinoids went with the harness. Do I need any of them or just rip out the whole rats nest.
-I would like to keep all of the stock gages functional. Is there extra that needs to be done and what?
-Do I need to keep the BAC and EGR. I was hoping to keep this.
-Air Bypass Solenoid?

I'm sure there will be lots more questions

Is there are really detail site for someone who has installed this?

Thanks,
Ian

You can eliminate the entire vacuum spider. All those mulit-colored solenoids can go.

If you aren't running emissions, get rid of the EGR. Use a block-off plate.

Keep the BAC. The Haltech can use the BAC, and you'll have better cold idle than I do with the Wolf.

Too keep the stock gauges, you'll just have to find the stock gauge wiring and splice your new sensors into that.

Not sure about the useless boost gauge...since you are using the Haltech MAP sensor now...

Thanks evilrotor.

I have the full haltech harness so I guess splice the gauges on would have to almost be at the sensor. More wires. Dam tons of wires.

you can remove the wiper harness from the engine harness, its just 3 or 4 wires that runs along the engine wiring for less than 18", just cut the wrapping and pull it out
