on haltechs site they list inj1 as being a LB wire and ign1 as being LG wire. in the manual it lists ign1 as being LG and inj1 as being LB. I pickedup an e8 on the forum and it had LB,W/B,B wires run for ignition. i forgot to check on the color of the injector wires. i wouldnt be surprised if the guy i bought it from had things setup incorrectly. which wiring diagram should i pay attention to?

 

trace the wire back to the correct pin on the plug using the wiring diagram, wire color doesn't really matter.

 

Weird, it should be Light Blue for for Injector1...

I would do as slo says and verify the pinout at the ECU plug to make sure.

As a side note, I didn't realize that Haltech changed the E8 wiring at some point.
My E8 uses a dedicated Injector +12VDC switched single wire lead (Red / Blue?), but some earlier E8's use the Gray / Red +12VDC switched (multiple) wire(s) for fuel injector power...
