ECU Diagnostic Error?

so i was tuning the 20B yesterday and for no apparent reason, in the lower left corner of the halwin screen in a red bow appeared "ECU Diagnostic Error"

at first, it wouldn't let me adjust the bars in the fuel map (just what i happened to be messing with at the time, i didn't try other maps) so i restarted the laptop, and disconnected the car battery for a few minutes.

when i fired it all back up, the ECU Diagnostic error message was still there, but it would let me adjust the bars now.

that's where i stopped because i was unsure whether or not the adjustments i was making would even take place and i was unsure if it would be safe to even try to run the car with this error.

i read the manual (again) and found nothing. . . anyone see this before? what's to be done of it?

thanks
ryan

You connected your coolant level sensor to your Haltech?

Do you mean faulty coolant temp sensor.
