Will an E8A work in a fc and is it fuel only? Found one for $400 was wondering if its a good deal or not.

Did Haltech release a new E8 or did you put in a typo and was supposed to be "E6A" instead?

Seriously, don't waste your time with the E6A.

I puty to fools who were bidding on the "E6" on eBay the other day...
*sigh*

Don't quote me on this, but I think the E6 only can do basic mode.
I don't think it can even handle the 24 + 2 stock CAS?

The E6A can at least handle the stock CAS, but it needs external reluctors tro read the ignition input signal correctly.

I dont think the E6A had the ability to fire the rotaries wasted spark deal, and specially not the toggle option in the stock trailing igniter, you would be better off with an E6X, or even a K if you can find it. Last resort i have a 2 E6S available for about 800 shipped to the US with a BRAND NEW flying lead harness and all new sensors, not including map sensor or TPS. And also yes, you would need to buy a pair of MSD Magnetic Signal Stabilizer boxes for each reluctor. Suposedly some S units could handle it directly, but it takes tweaking of the internal jumpers.

PM me for more info if you need it.
