e8 move ignition map

I would like to copy my ignition 1 map to ignition 2. How do I do this?
I am almost happy with my fuel maps. My egt's are high 2200 F + or -. How long can I run them this high without consequence's ? I was hoping to have my fuel totally dialed in before touching the timing.

Those are extremely high egts. I think you should address that right away. Those temps will kill the turbo if you are boosted.

Thanks. That was what I figured even though it's not the answer I wanted. I am at the track tomorrow I hope to get it all sorted out.

I had a problem with the input I am using for the egt. The egt reading should max out at 1800 and change. I disabled the input changed it to some random input changed it back to egt and redid the calibration and life seems good. I was getting 932 even with the input shorted to ground. It seems like the calibration was off even though it looked fine . If that drop 932 off my egt readings that's a lot closer to normal.

932c is still too hot. With the E8 you may want to check to see if your timing is moving when locked. If so, you may have to dial it in using the Advanced Trigger settings. My E8 was losing 1* every 1000 rpm leading to a loss of about 7-8* by 8000rpm. This was causing my egts to be higher than it should under boost at high rpms.
