I AM TRYING TO INSTALL E6K SOFTWARE ON MY LAPTOP...BUT I KEEP GETTING ERROR MESSAGES
UNABLE TO CREATE DIRECTORY...
I GO TO ...A:
I TYPE INSTALL
A DRIVE TURNS
THEN ...THIS WILL COPY HALTECH FILES TO C:\HALTECH\E6K...APEARS
THEN UNABLE TO CREAT DIRECTOY APPEARS
THEN E6K.CFG APPEARS
THEN ...PATH NOT FOUND - C:\HALTECH\E6K
0 FILES COPIED
HELP WANT TO START CAR THIS WEEKEND

 

you should be able to copy the floppy disc to your hard drive and run the E6K.exe program, this is the engine management program. this is a DOS program so be prepared for that. I think the instal program just creates a folder and copies the files to it. try this and if it doesn't work I can email you my version which works for me.
