E6k and 2 Step

I Wired up my 2 step the way ReTed said to in a earlier post
red/black is the Spare A/D signal.
orange is +5VDC.
Black=Ground

And i wired it throught the clutch switch. So red and Black to one side of the clutch Switch and the Orange to the other side of the clutch Switch fromt he ECU. With a Switch in the middle of all that. I set the AUX RPM limit to 5000 RPMs and it did nothing when i turned the switch over, what am i doing wrong?

Thanks
Marc

To make things easier i just cut the orange and red/black wire off at the ECU and then u turned the car on and touched the 2 wires together to complete the circuit and i still got nothing, the black wire was grounded. I think im having a programing error, any suggestions. Thanks

Sorry, I still got your PM sitting in my mbox, but I never got around to answering it cause I just started my new job...yesterday.

I don't think the Aux In is available, since most rotary applications need to be set to Advanced mode.
Once in Advanced mode, the Aux In is stolen to use as the 3rd ignition output for the RX-7 ignition system.

Try and double-check this with the Haltech manual - it should be mentioned in there.

As far as i know I am not using the Auv In for the 2 Step, I am trying to use the Spare input function set to Aux Rev Limit, then set that to what your desired RPM level is. I am using my Aux Out for the ignition toggle.

Thanks
