E11 Fuel problems

Finally getting the car started again after swamping out the intake and turbo. I got all the ignition problems sorted out but now i am having fuel problems.

Ok, here we go. I went to start the car and it seems super rich. If you go full throttle (clear flood) it starts up and revs super fast and crisp for about 2 seconds then it is like you just turn the key off. I figured for sure that the ignition was dropping off but after putting the timing light on it i found that it was not the case. After messing with it for a while i got it to idle but it didn't sound right. As soon as you brought it off idle it would die. All the displays on the E11 gauge page look normal. KOEO the map reads -0.7 PSI, after i start it the vacuum goes to -8.5 PSI. All of the correction maps and the IAT have been disabled. Nothing seems erratic in the display, i even tried bumping the fuel scale factor down to 40% but it made very little difference.

The only things that i changed in the Haltech since the last time i drove it was the software. I loaded 1.71 and B32. I am using the same base map that i had the car running on before and i never had fueling problems with it before.

Thanks for your help in advance
Allen

I guess i should add at no point does the fuel pressure drop off. I plan on loading my old firmware/software tomorrow and see if that takes care of it.

I loaded 1.62 and B29 back into the ECM and it worked flawlessly. I still have a few issues with throttle plate fazing but the car sounds great. I don't know if i got a bad software download or what the deal is. I guess i will leave it in until the car is tuned and let the tuner decide what he wants to do.

If you're talking about v1.71 firmware, or a beta version that was released before that final one? anyway, with all new firmware there's always something bound to pop up unanounced. But, if you were able to reload the prevous firmware and it works perfect, by all means, keep it. You know what they say, "if it aint broke dont fix it"

I think the problem may have been that i was running 1.71 with a beta version of B32???
