E11 Fd

Has anyone seen a FD with an E11 yet and how did it run?

Where can I get one and who would you recommend to tune it ?

Someone in Cali if possible!

I just finished wiring up my E11. Only problem right now is that no one I've talked to can give me a correct base map.

What do you mean by "correct" base map? It should ship with a base map. If you lost your base map, you should be able to get another one from Haltech or one of the forum members.

Do you guys know of anyone that would wire up an E11 and get it running in California? K2rd is busy right now with new developments so I need to look for another option.

I am getting desperate to get my car up to full boost.

I sold my powerFC thinking I could upgrader to real stand-alone E11, but that doesnt seem to be happening. I have look at Motec but would double the price. So now the new thought is maybe the HKS FCON V PRO. Any thoughts ?

If your local speed shop's solution to tuning your EMS is telling you to look on the internet for an "FD base map", then maybe you should consider another tuner.

There are quite a few Haltech dealers in CA:
http://www.haltech.com.au/usa.htm

Also, the Wolf US distributor is in Rancho Cordova.

And, there are at least two Microtech dealers in CA:

Most of these shops wont work on a Rx7 except K2RD but they are too busy right now.

Not really interested in either of these companies as I am in the market for a more well represented comapy.

My last option may be HKS F-con V-pro

Oh, and you think you're going to find an authorized "FCON V Pro" tuner?

Now you're going to need luck...

No problem .

I have been trying to get an E11 for some time. Hard to find an installer. Still waiting on the harness adapter too. If you can hook me up, I would have one also.

let me know

Don't get the harness adapter and just use the haltech wiring harness. Makes the engine bay much cleaner.

... do you mean the flying loom kit ? and wire it up myself ? It will be cleaner this way versus a plug in adapter.... ?

Can you show a pic or 2 of your install.

thanks

Yup, that's what I mean. Get the flying lead. I'll try and take a pic of it tonight if I can get someone with a camera to come over.
