does the halltech have the capability to adjust for diff coils?

i have a power fc but want to run LS1 or LS2 coils in my fd but someone told me that those coils have a diff charge time that the power fc wont adjust or cant adjust for. is this correct? i think they said the Halltech can but i know nothing about either. can someone please shed some light on this for me, thanks

Haltech can either go CONSTANT DUTY (in %) or CONSTANT CHARGE (in mS).
You're asking if you can change the CONSTANT CHARGE parameter - YES!

what is the charge time on the ls2's?

i mean guys are using between 2 and 5 ms on t2 and fd coils, so what would make the ls2's any different?

There are coils that cant handle extended periods of time set at more than 4.5mS of dwell, they fry. It might be a good idea to know how capable these are before raising the dwell, its true there is more spark to be had when you use a higher dwell but the coil sometimes melts from the abuse.

Apparently the T2 coil packs and igniters are good for a lot of abuse.
