Everything is in stock aside from quick releases... we're in the redesign process and will have them available towards the end of the year :)

For those who have made a purchase and received all of what is described on the website minus the quick releases will receive the quick release at a later date or is this extra? The site includes it.

Sorry for the confusion guys, the current product page was quickly updated to remove the option to purchase the quick release mechanism. This is just for the bracket mount itself (which is now compatible with the H3R included strap style mount).

The quick release mechanisms will be available later this year at a discounted price after we finish re-working the mechanism and get it through production. If you purchase the bracket now (we're unfortunately starting to run low after sending out over 50 brackets so far) you will be able to purchase the quick release mechanism to add on later this year.

These will not fit aftermarket seats. For aftermarket seats please purchase the rear trunk mount version.

We are hoping to incorporate an optional add-on fire extinguisher mount into our FD seat mount for the Recaro Pole Position Seats (group buy going on currently in the 3rd Gen Section as well). Hopefully we can make it work, but I can't make any guarantees at this stage in development.

If you can do this then i will def purchase. For now i will back out of the seat mount bracket since i will likely get the recaros.

An update would be nice. Really hoping to have the QR before the Spring car season comes :)

Quick release mechanisms are in machining now! :) few more weeks and we'll start shipping. Brackets (trunk and seat) are fully stocked. Thanks everyone for your patience

Is the quick release available?

Been waiting a while to for the quick release. At least I have the mount and extinguisher in the car.

I got two orders for the quick release right here.

And, if should I suffer any delay in liberating my extinguishers from their current mounts in the meanwhile I'm going to write a strongly worded letter.

I ended up just machining an aluminum adapter plate with tapped screw/bolt holes and used the 'stock' quick release that the fire extinguisher manufacturer offers. I'd have preferred the SB one though... this works perfectly fine and allowed me to move the fire extinguisher out from the seat just enough to not dig into it.

Nearly done!! They're being reamed in matched pairs as we speak :) Should have even better tolerancing than the original design.

I ordered the rear trunk mount this past weekend with quick release. I forgot to enter the promo code :wallbash:. I can't wait to get it and hopefully they give me the discount anyways.

On the product page the options are...

What is the quick release pin option? I thought the whole idea of this accessory was that it was quick release.

Ah, missed that. Also would like clarity. Luckily QR pins are easy to come by...

That is a pushbutton aircraft pin, vs a simple pull pin. The aircraft version is no longer available, and should be discontinued on the website.. I'll edit that product page now.

Installed the rear quick release. Much nicer aesthetics. The tolerance is pretty tight on the QR pin. Recommend working it back and forth a little and adding some dry lubricant, to make it easier to get loose. I bent my lanyard ring trying to yank it out. No biggie.

Hey! That's actually included with the rear seat mount, you accidentally received that with your kit. It's not needed for you bracket.

Will there be a group buy in the future or is it still going for 2019?
