Arrow GB: GM 3-Bar Map Sensor Bracket - SBG

Semi-gloss black

We've finally run out of stock and are gearing up for another production run, if there is enough interest in making these again. We need at least 20 people on board to make the GB pricing happen. Please add your name at the bottom if you would like to join this group buy on brackets.

Almost every car we’ve seen with a 3-Bar map sensor has zip ties holding it in place. One of our fellow members (Crispy) created a simple and elegant solution; a stock looking bracket to hold the sensor in place. With Crispy’s permission, we've reproduced his original design.

"Don’t be a hack, rock this brack!"

Our GM 3-bar map sensor bracket offers:
  • Perfect fitment
  • OEM appearance
  • Stainless mounting hardware
  • No zip ties! Clean look.
  • Choice of colors - raw aluminum, semi-glossblack.

Price: $45 - powder coated semi-gloss black or raw aluminum (price includes paypal fees and shipping within the Continental US)

Payment: PayPal -> sakebombgarage@gmail.com

*NOTE* Please include your forum user name, and desired finish in the 'notes setion' of your paypal payment!! Also, please make sure the address listed is your correct mailing address.

GB UPDATE:

If this new production run happens for the GM 3-bar map sensor (if we can get enough people together obviously), we may also be able to offer this with a mil-spec plug and play harness to adapt the GM sensor to the stock harness Stay tuned for developments

If you guys are interested in a plug and play harness, please mention it (otherwise we'll just assume everyone wants brackets alone). We're not 100% sure the adapter harness will happen but there is a good possibility

The production run for the brackets and harness adapters has officially begun.

So the last question is.... do most people have GM 3-bar sensors already, or would anyone be interested in a package deal with all three pieces? (genuine GM 3bar sensor, mil spec adapter harness, and bracket). I don't know pricing yet and it would depend on how many people are on-board... so this is just to gauge general interest.

There are actually quite a few "knockoff" GM 3bar "style" sensors floating around online (check your sensor for the white manufacturers part number tag... if it's missing you've got a knockoff!). After accidentally ordering one myself (thinking it was a legit GM part) I was shocked to find how few places actually retail the genuine sensor!!! The wording on many of these sites is misleading and it's quite easy to end up with a cheap knockoff unit. After a disgruntled email exchange I finally got a refund for the fake, and ordered up a legit one. Seeing as this is the only point of reference that the ECU sees for boost (how much air is actually being pumped into your motor), I personally refuse to run anything other than the genuine sensor to save 30 bucks... this is not the place to pinch pennies.

Anyway, I'm not sure if many people are aware that there are fakes out there, but if there is interest we can work on sourcing the genuine ones in bulk for a GB package. I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts...

I'd hope 2 weeks or less. We're still waiting for the run of brackets themselves to be done, and off to powdercoating. The Mil-spec harnesses are all done . If people do indeed want the GENUINE "GM 3bar" sensor we'll have those for sale too.

We've got a good number of people... I'll have to double check with Dan but we'll honor the GB pricing. We're going to try a new order processing for this GB where (once it's done) we will be processing GB orders directly through our website with a "GB Code" that we will post here. The website revamp is still not done yet... I'm hoping the bracket run and the website revamp will both be finished at the same time and then you lucky chaps will get to beta test our site

So I guess that's the tradeoff... if we don't reach 20 people we'll still honor the pricing but you have to play with our website and find any glitches
