GB: FD3S Bi-xenon Hid Retrofit

I make retrofits for a variety of cars and I have made a setup for the fd. This is a plug and play kit with minimum cutting to the pop up assembly.

What is included:
New clear housing
Morimoto 4300k bulbs
Morimoto 35w ballast
Bi-xenon projector
Alcohol wipe for bulbs
Relay harness

Some pictures of a set I have done.

This is the cutoff

I currently sold these for a price of $656, but since this is a group buy I can lower the price. The price will be lowered once I get the numbers finalized but I am shooting for $553 shipped! For wait time it will depend on how many people are in the group buy.

If interested please start a list.

Other than that the price is very attractive. I will keep an eye and see how things go.

What projectors are you using? There are lots of projectors out there that have a very wide range of performance differences. Correct me if I'm wrong but these look like the d2s minis which are essentially a cheap "screw-in" projector

Yes this is the mini but it is far from cheap, If you want to compare the price between the fx-r (which Sake Bomb uses) and mini it's only a 10 dollar difference. Both of these projectors were designed and made by the same person.

It does have a screw in mount but it doesn't drop in, i still have to mod the housing to accept the projector and then do all of the alignment.

What about the fitment as mentioned in post #2? What are the differences between your product versus the Sakebomb? (ie. Warranty) Price seems right

From what I can see from pictures (I never seen their kit in person) they use a Philips bulb and a different projector bowl. I also have a one year warranty.

If you guys want I can add another option for oem Philips bulbs for an extra $45. The total then will be $583.

DIY Option

I can provide a DIY option for those who want to do the conversion for themselves. I will sell the retrofit kit for 265$ shipped and you will have to buy the clear housing.

The diy kit includes projectors, bulbs, harness, shrouds, ballast, and I made a diy here on the forum you can follow. The only thing you would need is the housing. The bulb temp comes in 4300, 5000, and 6000k you can pick which one you want. Finally I can make a installation guide I just haven't had enough interest in the retrofits to make one yet.

They can be purchased on ebay I will give you the link for the diy once I get off my phone.

For those who are interested in buying a retrofit thhe price of the housings went up 40 dollars so unfortunatly I have to raise my price to 580 shipped.
