Everybody loves a happy tranny! To make them happier, we have designed a Transmission spacer for the FC and FD models to help aid cooling. Our spacers are CNC machined out of aluminum and add an additional capacity of ~0.78qt or ~25oz.

When the transmission fluid surpasses the optimal operating temps, it loses it's efficiency and feel notchy. This can lead to mis-shifting causing damage synchros. With the added capacity out spacer provides, it prevents this from happening as the addition fluids help maintain optimal temps and helps dissipate the heat quicker.

*Includes Hardware but requires your choice of sealant (we prefer Permatex right stuff)*

Do you offer a spacer for the black plastic piece that sits by the gears? I'd think you'd want to keep that close to the gear set to work best.

 

Of course! all hardware is included, 14 longer bolts for the cover, 4 spacers for the gear baffle, and 4 extend bolts for the baffle

I should have the spacers mid week and the hardware will be ordered tomorrow once I get home to double check the specs

Would your spacer be a good place to tap to run oil cooler lines through?

Yes sir! Out spacer is an 1" thick giving you plenty of room to tap. We also sold one of our earlier prototypes that was 3/4" to a customer who was using it to tap to run a trans cooler set up

 

I have the KSP Attain pan. What do you think about running the spacer with the pan? A link to the pan is below:

I think it will make a great addition, CripsyRX7 is actually running one of our very early prototypes (when they were still made by hand) with his Super now Transmission cover. The only thing is our bolts wont be compatible since your cover is thicker. However if you do want to make a purchase shoot me a pm or email @ Sales@bubbletech.us and I can give you $10 off and not include the bolts since they are not usable for your application
