The main reason I was never interested in the CF versions was because I wasn't sure how they'd fit. I assumed they wouldn't fit very well. And also I didn't really want to do a full CF interior. So I don't really care what it's made of as long as it's strong and fits well. Hell even if it just fits well and is cheap enough to buy another one when it breaks sometime down the road lol.

I came close to buying the carbon fiber but I knew I wouldn't be 100% happy with it, so I decided against it. I need one desperately....as I'm sure several others do too, lolol.

Exactly. I'm always skeptical of those CF pieces, I just feel like they're all gonna fit like shit. I just really hope companies start reproducing all the interior pieces and that it doesn't cost your soul haha.

What with 3D printing and all, I wouldn't think the markup for reproduction pieces would be THAT expensive. I bought my RX-7 after it had been sitting outside uncovered for the last ten years. Everything I touch on the inside disintegrates in front of my eyes. I'm having to get accustomed to some of the prices as I'm used to shopping for a Civic and a Miata, lmao.

another nowhere thread?

Any updates on this? I'm trying everything I can to avoid buying an OEM gauge hood.
