Definitely need this, too bad you aren't going to make the a/c panel in Stock form, ppl still use a/c yang know 😉

Bauer778 04-12-17 09:04 AM

Same with many others I am very Interested in this, would rather not go with the unknown fitment of the Ebay CF version Any update on the status?

Kenjiryan 04-24-17 08:46 PM

i'm +1 interested

MastrChase 04-30-17 12:44 AM

I ended up buying another OEM one, but if I might make a humble suggestion about the gauge hood: you don't need to re-invent the wheel. Mazda no longer sells it separate from the gauge surround. Simply having a replica of the original complete with clips would still be an immense gift to the FD3S community. I admire all the work going in to the magnet idea, but speaking for myself the magnets were never a big draw for me. Driving around without a smashed AF gauge hood was the draw. What do you think?

HyperRex 05-08-17 10:56 PM

I suspect, on balance, a simple gauge hood recreation would be wildly and immensely popular. Hell, I'd buy one just to mess with.

Bubble Tech hasn't posted on this forum since 10/6/2016. It would appear as if something has happened with him.

Any idea on when you’ll be making more heel plates??

Perhaps perhaps even a group buy??

If you have "ALL" the pieces I can re-construct cluster hoods in the '93 finish for $100...like new.
Send pieces to:
Jim Thompson
3700 Sourwood Trail NW
Cleveland, TN 37312

As with all my parts, you may return for full refund if not satisfied.

Montego 01-05-18 02:44 PM

^^ what about 94-95 finishes?
