I had Mike perform an inspection for me on what seemed like a rare find, a really low-mileage RX-7 FD R1 in CYM in "mint" condition from an independent dealer. Since I was not local and could not bring the car to Mike, he was willing to drive out to the dealer to check the car out (for a reasonable fee). The car turned out to be a total lemon, and had clearly been in a major accident. Mike did a great job evaluating the car the giving me a good honest feedback about the situation. Saved me from a potentially disastrous purchase.
Through out our conversations, Mike came across as honest, responsive and very knowledgeable. If I was local to Chicago I would go out of my way to have my cars serviced by Mike and Import Motorsport.
