I put a set of Corbeau Sport Seats (and a set of Check seat heaters) in my car when I first got it four years ago. The support of the seats has been very good, and they remain quite comfortable, but there are two problems:

1. The mounting brackets that were supposed to custom fit raised the seats so high I was banging my head on the headliner. I'm 5'5". So I had to cut the brackets, and weld in spacers to lower the seats.

2. I chose their blue cloth to match the rest of my interior, problem is the driver bolsters are wearing out from my rubbing against it getting in and out. The seat bottom (where my butt goes) has also worn pretty bad, and while I spend a lot of time in my car, I think its a bit premature after just 4 years.

You can see pics of my seats on my website, link is in the sig.

These look like a really nice replacement for the stock seats, but they are not racing seats, they are sport seats. Here's the difference:

Racing Seats: Non-reclinable, and specially designed for racing impact. International racing rules require FIA homologinated standard (24g impact @ 50ms).

Sport Seats: Look like racing seats, but stress comfort above safety, mostly used in show cars.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with a nice set of sport seats for normal driving, but they have no place on the racetrack IMO. Sport seats and race seats are priced nearly the same, so the choice is up to you. The lowest-priced option is to simply get your stock seats recovered at your local auto upholstery shop. The lowest-priced FIA racing seat that I know of is the Momo Rookie, which retails for about $300 USD. https://secure.vbcomm.net/store/deta...?part=1090+BLK

I agree. Considering that I don't race my car, it is just my daily driver, the sport seats gave me the comfort and adjustability that I wanted. (Its also why I still use the factory seatbelts.) Peace.
