rx4 rust problem
ok, dont know if this is the right place to ask this, but have a look at these photos:

1st link is broken.
2nd picture looks like surface rust to me, nothing major.
3rd picture, I would use JB Weld as a body filler and possibly even use a flexible mesh fabric over the bigger holes to give the putty something to adhere to in the centers.
This is nothing major really, on my REPU I just did this method to fill in a 4" x 6" hole in the cab exterior.

check the vent area towards the top of the firewall under the dash. i had one that was rusted thru pretty bad from crap in the cowl allowing water to stand in it. actually u can remove the cowl and wipers and shine a flashlight toward the fender ends inside. if it's badly rusty u'll see it.
