Question RX323 conversion

Basicly theres heaps of wires that don't seem to have any where to go. The engine is a 12a out of a s1 rx7, it has an rx2 carb (which has 2 wires coming out of it from what I can see, and I figure they're just for sensors) also theres like 5 or 6 wires coming out of the distributer which I haven't a clue about.
Thats pretty much it for now, by the way the car is an '85 323 wagon, I think its a GLX.

Do you need them to run the car? I am not sure if you are running a stand alone engine management system or what not. I am only throwing out an educated guess but maybe the wires were for an electronically adjusted distributor? I know some of the 88 or so 323 turbo's had something like that.

kahl~

are you saying that you have everything else put together in the car, except for the wires you mentioned, or are you trying to put everything togther?

i think you'd be doing yourself a favor if you ditched the MkI distributor for a MkII or MkIII unit. as for the wires on the Rx-2 carbie, do you have a picture or could you describe them a bit?
