i have a 86 that i put a new motor in cuz the last one blew a apex.i got it all back together it starts but wont run good acts like the rear injecters are not working right. ne ideas?

 

1. check compression of this engine. You can simply remove the bottom spark plugs, pull the 30 and 40 amp fuses for spark and fuel then have someone crank the engine and just listen. Should have three even, strong puffs per rotor. If compression seems good, proceed to 2.

2. Check the injectors. Try replacing them with known working units.

oh it does...the motor ran great in the car i pulled it from

it will start up if u dump gas in the intake but the tac doesnt move when it revs up for the sec it runs on the gas dumped in
