Please don't start multiple threads.

It's likely it could. Make sure the engine isn't flooded, and that compression isn't the problem. If you think your engine is blown, try the poor man's compression check to see if you have even pulses. Make sure you're getting fuel, air, and spark.

pull/push started, it's possible. or heating the cooling medium first, perhaps. however, you should confirm that those are the compression readings and prepare yourself to fix it rather than sidestepping the low compression.
